UPDATE: The planned ignitions on the Flat Lake (C41602) wildfire have been successfully completed on the south section of the fire perimeter in the Alberta and McKinley Lakes area. This section of the fire perimeter has been brought down to established roads that personnel are using as control lines. Bringing the fire perimeter to this area further secures the control lines and has created safer and easier access for ground crews and for direct water delivery to the fire line. Additional planned
