Today marks the 133rd anniversary of the Nutcracker's premiere. To mark the occasion, here is a very special animation by artist Tenzin Yougyal. It tells the story of a boy who dreams of being led on an adventure by a magical fairy on Christmas Eve. The story is set to the music of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, in the cult recording of Mstislav Rostropovich conducting the Berliner Philharmoniker.
