Aug 28, 2021 · Golf Pride says the formula has been changed slightly (hopefully an improvement). I prefer a full rubber style versus the multi-compound models. I've used the tried and true Tour Wrap 2g for quite some time and it works well except you have to constantly wipe the dust off or the tack goes away.

Feb 2, 2023 · I'll be switching to the Tour Velvets since over half of all Tour Players use it. They must know what works. Soft enough but allowing good traction and feedback. If I could get one wish from Golf Pride it would be to make a Tour Velvet with a couple rings of the "pebbly" rubber tread that's on the MCC grips.

Oct 9, 2019 · I used to use Tour Velvets also and recall having them put on my ordered clubs from Club Champion in 2014 (not that long ago) without even giving it a second thought. I remember always thinking that the NDMC were too harsh on the hands, and I've never liked full cord grips (like the tour velvet cord, tour wrap cord, etc.).
