Jan 31, 2025 · A trespasser sparked the movement to reopen Bronson Speedway. That unidentified person made a TikTok, which caught the attention of track owner Ann Young. When that TikToker called the Archer, Florida, paved oval an “abandoned speedway,” it did not sit well with Young. “Abandoned speedway? No way,” said Young.

The Bronson Speedway was an asphalt, 3/8 mile racetrack located in Levy County, Florida, United States. It hosted several local racing series as well as a number of touring series throughout the year.

The site Back When At Bronson Speedway was created to bring back the history of the track from 1973 when it was purchased to present day. I hope to share stories about the track, photos and videos.
