Aug 6, 2021 · The reason I'm trying to get to the Bluetooth module is because my MMI only freezes when the Bluetooth symbol appears on the bottom of the screen. I already bought the optical loop to bypass the module as I really don't want it / need it in the first place.

Jun 22, 2010 · I was wondering, where does the OEM Bluetooth module mounted in the car? I am thinking to purchase the OEM kit over the FISCON Basic Plus kit as I want the mic and proper oem fitting. The Audi OEM kit is approx $500 I can get it for.

Aug 20, 2022 · The factory config for CAN bus infotainment (ie, Concert) includes the R36 unit and the R152 Bluetooth antenna and the R164 microphone unit with R140 front left microphone. The mic unit goes in the overhead unit with the lights and sunroof controls. The R36 goes under the passenger seat, iirc.

May 16, 2021 · It's not necessary, you can remove it completely but you need to put fiberoptic loop instead of the bluetooth module, kind of a bypass.

As a temporary fix to get your MMI working again, you can but a fibre optic loop, which essentially bypasses the bluetooth module. Unplug the fibre optic lead and plug this in and your MMI should work again, ovbiously minus the bluetooth!

could anybody please point me in the right direction of how i replace bluetooth module in Audi a6 (c6)? many thanks
