I can create the sphere, I can shell it so its hollow, and then cut it in half without issue. What I need to do is take that part and extrude the half sphere out of the face of another part.

Also I tried using the project curve fecture to project the drawing onto the sphere but then I can not use that feature to make the cut. I need some help any suggestions.
