The Santa Fe Model Railroad Club is a non-profit organization that promotes a general interest in trains and the hobby of model railroading, "the world's greatest hobby". Members model several different scales and specialties, including narrow-gauge trains.

Model-train enthusiasts like to collect Santa Fe locomotives and passenger cars for their history as well as their style. Foremost among these are the F-series locomotives that appeared after World War II, with their warbonnet paint scheme in red and silver, accented by yellow.
