After the Saints used the ninth overall selection on Texas tackle Kelvin Banks Jr, many believed the offensive line in New Orleans was set for the future. Taliese Fuaga had a great rookie year, and the interior of the line has been mostly set for a few seasons with Cesar Ruiz and Erik McCoy.
The interior of the defensive line might be the Saints' most crowded position. Trading Khalen Saunders to the Jacksonville Jaguars only provided some relief.

The New Orleans Saints traded defensive tackle Khalen Saunders to the Jacksonville Jaguars after the two teams faced off in the preseason on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
"Hill is still a playmaker when healthy, but the Saints could save $10 million towards the 2025 salary cap if they cut him. It's unlikely Hill does get cut, but he won't be returning to action in the first month of the season either. The Saints can stash Hill on PUP so he doesn't have to take a 53-man spot," Kerr wrote.
