Julius Randle and the Minnesota Timberwolves are finalizing a new deal that could keep him with the club through the 2027-28 season, a person with knowledge of the agreement said Sunday.

NBA insider Shams Charania has reported that the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a massive deal with Julius Randle.

Julius Randle is staying put. The former Knicks forward, who was traded to the Timberwolves in the Karl-Anthony Towns deal right before the start of training camp last year, is set to sign a new three-year, $100 million contract to remain with Minnesota, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Sunday.
