Beats brand debuted its Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds on Tuesday, the first such pair of earpieces to include built-in heart rate monitoring sensors. On store shelves on Feb. 13 for $249, the buds feature improved audio capabilities and battery life,

The same goes for select gym cardio equipment. If you go to a fancy gym, you may have bikes or treadmills that can connect to Bluetooth heart rate monitors, and you can press and hold the “b” button on Powerbeats Pro 2 to sync up.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 take it to the next level by having Apple’s newer H2 chip — the same one as Apple’s newest AirPods Pro — and thus have even more abilities. The most notable additions are modes for active noise-cancellation and transparency, which their predecessor lacked.
