Police investigating the shooting death of actor Jonathan Joss have not ruled out his sexual orientation playing a role in his killing, despite an earlier statement suggesting otherwise.

But there is another noteworthy element of the ruling that also deserves attention: it reaffirms the rule that discrimination based on sexual orientation is a form of sex discrimination.
