Dixie beer has a new name, and it’s one already ingrained in the neighborhoods of New Orleans. The city’s oldest beer maker now calls itself Faubourg Brewing Co., the company announced Wednesday.

The new Dixie brewery in New Orleans East is filled with pieces of the company’s past, from the old neon signs over the production floor to vintage memorabilia in its museum on local beer.
