While the future of the quarterback position in Pittsburgh is still up in the air, Russell Wilson knows where he wants to be for the foreseeable future. While making an appearance on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday,

Pittsburgh traded a conditional sixth-round pick to the Chicago Bears for three-year starter Justin Fields who then led the team to a 4-2 start. At that point, the Steelers replaced Fields with eight-time Pro Bowler Russell Wilson on league-minimum contract after the Denver Broncos cut him last offseason.

During his season-ending press conference, Mike Tomlin said he was still in the process of unearthing what led to the Steelers ' five-game losing streak to close out the 2024 season. Just before and shortly following Tomlin's presser, two reports have come out that have done just that, likely to the head coach's chagrin.
