A 20-year-old woman was raped and assaulted by an autorickshaw driver at a beach in neighbouring Palghar district this week.
According to police sources, the young woman, who resides with her family in Nalasopara, inserted the objects into her body to avoid being scolded and beaten by her parents for being raped by the auto-rickshaw driver.
