Comedian and "The View" host Joy Behar's latest endeavor is her play "My First Ex-Husband," which is holding its world premiere starting Jan. 29.
The View began recently with Joy Behar issuing a rare apology to the live audience and the viewing public. Joy Behar has been playing a more significant role on The View lately as the show has expanded into the weekends,
The View” hosts Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Anna Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin appeared on the Jan. 21 episode of the ABC daytime talk show to discuss Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration (Whoopi Goldberg is out this week due to a previously planned work commitment).
While Behar scoffed at Trump for “feeling sorry for himself” while telling Hannity that he “went through hell” fighting numerous legal battles the last few years, and co-host Sunny Hostin reminded viewers that the president had eventually been convicted on 34 felony counts, Griffin struck a different tone.
After the 47th U.S. president was sworn in for another term in office, he delivered a polarizing speech about his plans for the nation, including controversial comments on immigration policy, racial equity efforts, gender identity and several other high-stakes topics.
The first time Joy Behar did stand-up comedy in front of Barbara Walters, albeit unknowingly, her husband told her that "everyone was laughing except" for Walters. Behar shared the anecdote on the Jan.
Prospects for that appear slim, however, as both Hostin and panelist Sara Haines have had to take matters of Behar's phone into their own hands (literally) — such as grabbing Behar's noisy phone backstage after it went off live on the air and reaching over to silence it during the broadcast.
Sunny Hostin supported her co-host’s hot take by calling out, “Say it, Joy!” but Griffin’s words proved to be Behar’s breaking point.
"The View" co-host Joy Behar was already missing President Biden Thursday, despite him not officially leaving office until Monday, Inauguration Day.
They then went on to review footage of Trump’s inauguration speech in which he outlined his plans — including instituting mass deportations, fostering a “merit-based” society, and recognizing only two genders.
Former 'The View' cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck slammed ex-colleague Joy Behar after the comedian criticized Carrie Underwood for singing at Donald Trump's inauguration.
"This is the second time they've passed over Jon Chu. He should've been nominated for 'In the Heights,'" cohost Ana Navarro added. Elphaba defied gravity, but the Academy apparently defied Michelle Yeoh's wishes for her Wicked helmer Jon M.
