Phil Robertson, who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, is not listed among the family members A&E noted will take part in Duck Dynasty: The Revival. Along with Willie and Korie, Willie’s mother Kay, Uncle Si and Willie and Korie’s kids John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca are set to be on camera.
It was music to the ears of fans of the show and family, but there was some heartbreaking news that came out of the announcement, too. Per Deadline, Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the family, won’t appear on the series after it was announced late last year that he is battling Alzheimer’s and other health issues.
This version of the show will be produced by the Robertsons' own Tread Lively Productions as well as Wheelhouse Entertainment's Spoke Studios and A&E. Tread Lively produced the independent hit film "The Blind" about the early, turbulent days of the marriage of Phil and "Miss Kay."
The press release says “Duck Dynasty the Revival” will premiere on A&E in the summer of 2025. The show follow Willie and Korie Robertson, who will be planning the future of Duck Commander. It’ll also follow their children, who are navigating marriage, kids and having their own businesses.
