Al Ahly are said to have reached an agreement with a Portuguese coach amid Orlando Pirates mentor Jose Reveiro's links with the club.

Jose Riveiro will lead Orlando Pirates for their sixth cup final under his guidance with only two players that have played in all the previous five.
