Berkshire chief Warren Buffett stayed steady on Apple and Chevron while reducing stakes in several other stocks.

Warren Buffett is out of step with the markets. The S&P 500 returned 25% in 2024 and is up another 4% this year, but Berkshire Hathaway refuses to join the party and continues to be a net seller of stocks.

Berkshire Hathaway has over 40 stocks in its portfolio, and many are excellent long-term investments. Ally Financial looks especially attractive, with a cheap valuation and smart business strategy. SiriusXM looks like a no-brainer at the current stock price.
