Iran's foreign minister admitted major nuclear damage from U.S.-Israeli strikes, diverging from the Supreme Leader's claim the attacks failed.

Iran's foreign minister has admitted that "excessive and serious" damage was done to the country's nuclear sites in the recent US and Israeli bombings. Abbas Araghchi told a state broadcaster on Thursday evening,

The deep penetrating bombs that the U.S. dropped into two Iranian nuclear facilities were designed specifically for those sites and were the result of more than 15 years of intelligence and weapons design work,

Trump, in his less diplomatic style, has repeated Biden’s warning, albeit in much more colorful language. He told reporters in the Oval Office in February that he had “left instructions” for what should happen if he is murdered by Iran. “If they do it, they get obliterated,” the president said. “There will be nothing left.”

In a White House briefing with reporters President Donald Trump was asked if he would consider bombing Iran’s nuclear sites again if future intelligence reports offered a concerning conclusion on Iranian enrichment of uranium.
