Scottie Scheffler, of course, has done it again. Scheffler, thanks in part to an absolutely wild chip-in down the stretch at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland, overtook Robert MacIntyre to claim the BMW Championship on Sunday afternoon.
Maverick McNealy, Tommy Fleetwood and Sam Burns rounded out the top five. All of those golfers jumped at least three spots in the FedEx Cup standings. Harry Hall, who finished sixth, made the largest leap of the week, as he went from 45th to 26th in the FedEx Cup standings.
Like so many times before in his PGA Tour career, Scottie Scheffler delivered his best when his best was required. This time, at the 2025 BMW Championship on Sunday, it was among his most spectacular efforts yet.
Robert MacIntyre leads at 16-under, but Scottie Scheffler lurks just four shots back as the BMW Championship final round tees off Sunday.
Ben Griffin got off to a terrible start at the BMW Championship on Sunday. Griffin opened the final round of the FedExCup Playoffs event in Maryland by going 6-over through his first three holes of the day. He made a triple-bogey on the first hole, too.
