Kansas City bested the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs on Saturday, Jan. 18, earning a spot in the AFC championship game for the seventh consecutive season. Kelce amassed 7 catches for 117 yards and 1 touchdown along the way to lead all pass-catchers on either team.

Travis Kelce’s milestone game Saturday helped the Kansas City Chiefs’ quest for a three-peat continue for another week with a 23-14 win over the Houston Texans in the AFC divisional round. Kelce led the Chiefs’ offense with seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown.

Rice leads all players in NFL history with 22 receiving touchdowns in the playoffs. In the divisional round of the playoffs, Kelce added another touchdown to his ledger, giving him 20 all-time — and three away from claiming the new receiving touchdowns record.

With a TD reception just minutes after, Kelce began closing in on Rice’s TD reception record. Kelce sits at 20, Rice’s record stands at 22. On top of all that, later in the game Kelce snagged more yards, joining Rice as the only players to ever rack up over 2,000 career receiving yards in the postseason.
