As a 7th generation member of the Wallenda family, the “King of the High Wire” has “walked the wire” since he was 18 months old and began performing in his family’s circus act at age 2.

“When I was a teenager, I was surrounded by all kinds of arts, and, of course, it made me a man who rides in the sky, or a very unusual type of wire walker ... of the circus,” Petit said.
