Manchester United have completed the signing of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce. The Athletic reported on January 29 that the clubs had reached a broad agreement over a transfer valued at €30million (£25.2m) plus €5m (£4.2m) in add-ons for the Denmark international.

Mount suffered a hamstring injury for United against Manchester City and has not featured since. Amorim confirmed in January that Mount would take “a little bit longer” than Shaw to recover and his return date remains unclear. Veteran Jonny Evans remains out with a muscle injury and is not yet clear when the Northern Irishman will return.
