It makes sense to consider Auburn an afterthought in the Southeastern Conference. After all, the Tigers have endured four consecutive losing seasons — their longest such skid in nearly eight decades — and failed to find much consistency since Tommy Tuberville’s heyday 20 years ago.

Hugh Freeze has had mostly positive things to say about Auburn’s quarterbacks during preseason camp, but there’s one area he’s still “unsure of” less than two weeks before the season opener. While Freeze praised Auburn’s improvement in the run and RPO game, there’s still work to be done with the pocket passing.

During his Monday evening edition of Tiger Talk, Coach Freeze hinted that all 3 of Auburn’s quarterbacks — Jackson Arnold, Ashton Daniels and Deuce Knight — could play in the season-opener against Baylor. Earlier in the day, Freeze complimented Knight’s progress and said he wouldn’t hesitate to put the true freshman in a game.
