Bill Moyers, a former White House press secretary to Lyndon B. Johnson who became the thoughtful voice of public television, has died. He was 91.

Bill Moyers, the longtime, highly respected broadcast journalist and former White House press secretary, has died. Moyers, 91, a former resident of New Jersey, died Thursday. His son William Cope Moyers told The Washington Post he died in New York from complications of prostate cancer.
