Scotland County Board of Elections is reporting they've had 3,673 people cast their ballots early ahead of the presidential election.

On Wednesday at 4:44 p.m. the NWS Raleigh NC released a flood advisory in effect until 7:45 p.m. for Scotland County.

A flood advisory was issued by the NWS Raleigh NC on Friday at 2:16 p.m. in effect until 4:15 p.m. for Hoke and Scotland counties. The NWS states, "Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected." ...
