Penn State's once-promising basketball season took another serious hit Monday, as the Nittany Lions collapsed in the final two minutes of a 76-72 defeat to Michigan at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor.

Penn State basketball head coach Mike Rhoades and his staff scored a big win on the recruiting trail on Friday morning, as top 50 combo guard Kayden Mingo committed to the Nittany Lions.

Reaching the postseason isn't foreign to Penn State hoops - the program qualified for it in 2023, also as a 10-seed, when it defeated Texas A&M before losing a close game in the Round of 32.
