LISA ’s first full-length studio album, Alter Ego, debuts No. 1 on Billboard ’s Top Album Sales chart (dated March 15). The set sold 28,000 copies in the U.S. in the week ending March 6, according to Luminate.

Thai singer and actress Lisa released Alter Ego, her first solo album, and a music video for "FUTW," Friday. The K-pop star and member of South Korean girl group Blackpink, 27, plays a prisoner who transformers into an anime character at one point in the "FUTW" video.

Lisa has officially stepped out on her own. One-fourth of the K-pop juggernaut Blackpink, the rapper/dancer/actor/singer will release her first full-length solo record on Friday.

K-pop superstar Lalisa Manobal, known mononymously as LISA, sings, “They want the old LISA, then listen to my old shit.” Ironically, we haven’t seen significant artistic growth from the singer as a soloist or through her time in BLACKPINK.

Blackpink’s Lisa has made a strong solo debut on the US Billboard 200, with her first full-length album landing at No. 7 on the prestigious chart. This marks her first-ever solo appearance on the chart.
