The Los Angeles Lakers' thin frontline will get a major boost in their five-game homestand following a winless road trip.

On Friday, it looked as if the short-handed Lakers were going to shock the Nuggets, but miscues down the stretch led to another loss.

After losing all four away games without their starting frontcourt, the Lakers come home for five games in seven days, starting with Phoenix on Sunday.
