President Trump is expected to take a walking tour of a temporary migrant detention center being referred to as Alligator Alcatraz in South Florida. Bryan Kohberger, accused of killing four University of Idaho students in November 2022, has accepted a plea deal, prosecutors say, as his trial was set to begin in August.

“You’re my friend and you’ll always be my friend,” Trump said to DeSantis as he kicked off a roundtable after taking a tour of the detention facility. “We may even have some skirmishes in the future, I doubt it. But we’ll always come back because we have blood that seems to match pretty well.”
