A Washington ... River watershed’s rights have been violated, the perpetrator could be required to pay damages to the city and the funds would be used to restore the ecosystem to a healthy state.

According to a press release from the Washington Department of Ecology, the state will invest up to $53.5 million for 25 high-priority projects in watersheds across Washington.
