British boxing star Anthony Joshua was injured in a fatal car crash in Nigeria on Monday, according to officials. Two people were killed.

Anthony Joshua, the Nigerian-British boxer and former world heavyweight champion, was involved in a car accident that killed two other passengers in Nigeria on Monday.

"With profound sadness it has been confirmed that two close friends and team members, Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele, have tragically passed away," Matchroom Boxing said in a statement.
