Stop walking across a dark room to turn on the light. Install a 3-way switch and control lights from two locations.

The most basic three-way switch ... a wire nut. Similarly, inside box 2, attach the black wire from the three-wire bundle (black, white, copper) to the black terminal on the new switch.

The Eve Light Switch can be used as either a single-pole or 3-way switch, and all its wiring ... its five pigtail wires and corresponding wire nuts back into the electrical box in the wall.

On the near end 3way switch, the panels black conductor connected to the input common. On the far end 3 way switch, black was common, and red was the traveler connecting the two three way switches.
