Wes Anderson addressed Trump's proposed foreign film tariff at a Cannes press conference for his new film “The Phoenician Scheme."

Wes Anderson, who shot his fourth Cannes premiere, The Phoenician Scheme, at Babelsburg in Germany, was called to the carpet in the press room about his thoughts on President Donald Trump’s suggest film tariffs.

"Can you hold up the movie in customs?" the director asked at Cannes Film Festival, wondering about how the president's would impose his supposed 100 percent tariffs on movies made outside of the U.S.
