Warriors rookie Alex Toohey, the No. 52 pick in the 2025 NBA draft, was a standout with Sydney Kings in Australia’s National Basketball League

The Golden State Warriors have drafted Alex Toohey with the No. 52 pick in the 2025 NBA draft. Toohey had a strong showing in May during the draft combine in Chicago, flashing some improved shooting. The 21-year-old also looked like an interchangeable big wing or stretch 4 against his fellow draft competition during combine scrimmages.

With their first pick of the 2025 NBA draft, the Warriors landed a 6-foot-8 Australian wing with the No. 52 overall pick.
