Hoosiers showed their opposition to President Donald Trump's policies in a gathering Wednesday in Indianapolis.

SOUTH BEND — Democrat Valerie McCray lost the election as U.S. senator to Republican Jim Banks last fall. But, as she told a crowd of roughly 200 people in the bone-chilling 31 degrees at downtown’s Jon Hunt Memorial Plaza, that only “left me free to fight back with both hands and feet.”

Chanting "never again," hundreds of Iowans gathered on the steps of the Iowa Capitol on Wednesday to denounce President Donald Trump's recent action to remove diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and protest his mass deportation plans.

Protests were held in U.S. cities including Los Angeles, Phoenix and Asheville, North Carolina Monday as people voiced their opposition to President Donald Trump's mass deportation plans.

On Feb. 4, a large crowd of protestors marched down Hill and 1st Street in L.A.A group identifying themselves as Centro Community Service Organization (CSO) posted video of a rally downtown on social media the same day.Trucks carrying people led the protestors to city hall before moving north on Spring Street.

About 200 people gathered at the State House in Concord holding signs that read “Arrest Musk,” “Resist,” and “Trump is a threat to our national security.”

Demonstrators gathered in cities across the U.S. to protest the Trump administration's early actions, along with Elon Musk and Project 2025.
