NASCAR drivers are hoping for dry conditions in Chicago to gauge the track’s performance without rain tires or slippery surfaces.

More than 100 vehicles were seen at an illegal car meet on the borders of North and West Yorkshire, police have said. An organised event involving "racing on the roads and dangerous driving" took place on a road between Sherburn in Elmet and South Milford on Sunday evening.
