The Philadelphia Flyers entered the 2025 NHL draft with 10 selections, including three in the first round and six in the first 50 picks.For the first time in its history, the annual entry draft is being held in a decentralized location — the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Philadelphia's second-rounders were 6-6, 232-pound defenseman Carter Amico and a trio of nice-sized forwards: Jack Murtagh, Shane Vansaghi and Matthew Gard. Murtagh described himself as "a high-end workhorse."

Westbrook native Carter Amico was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the second round of the NHL Draft on Saturday night. The 6-foot-6 defenseman played with the U.S. National Team Development Program and is set to join Boston University as a freshman this fall.
