The Rams now have ample defensive tackle depth after adding Ty Hamilton in the 2025 NFL Draft. Johnson, a seventh-round pick in 2023, has played just 222 snaps in two seasons with three career sacks and 21 combined tackles. Releasing him would save around $1 million in salary cap.
