After much discussion and controversy, Kneecap played Glastonbury Saturday, hitting out at British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Rod Stewart.

The BBC cut Irish trio Kneecap from the broadcaster’s live coverage of the Glastonbury music festival Saturday after the group began chanting “F–k Keir Starmer,” a reference to the British Prime Minister, during their set.

The Northern Irish trio have been at the center of controversy since their Coachella performance back in April. At that show, they displayed a message that read: “Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people. It is being enabled by the U.S. government who arm and fund Israel despite their war crimes. F— Israel; free Palestine.”
