The Southern Delta Aquariids and Alpha Capricornids meteor showers peak over northern Oklahoma this week, with the best viewing overnight into early Wednesday morning. Clear skies and minimal moonlight will offer ideal conditions to view some meteors.
The Alpha Capricornids and Southern Delta Aquariids meteor showers are peaking tonight and will continue to be active through August 12th, with the Perseids also underway and peaking on August 12th, potentially resulting in 20 to 30 meteors per hour.
