Elon Musk and his nongovernmental team of government spending slashers have been granted access to the U.S. Treasury’s payments system, which is used to disperse trillion of dollars worth of government funds each year.

If Elon Musk or his DOGE team were to attempt to block federal payments, it would likely face legal challenges given the money is approved by Congress.
