The Rockies had little to offer against spot-starter Nabil Crismatt, who was perfect for the first three innings. They finally got to him in the fifth when Brenton Doyle drew a walk and stole his way into scoring position before being driven in by an Orlando Arcia single.

Colorado’s third straight win clinched the four-game series with the Diamondbacks. It was Colorado’s fifth win in its last six games, coming on the heels of its fifth eight-game losing streak of the season.

The Arizona Diamondbacks couldn't get their offense going in the late innings on Friday, Aug. 15, and lost to the Colorado Rockies 4-3.
