The Liberty might be a great landing spot for Bonner with superstar center Jonquel Jones out with injury. Bonner could wind up in the Finals with the Liberty if all goes well for New York in the second half of the season. She could earn starting minutes now and provide a spark off the bench once Jones gets healthy.

The Indiana Fever will be without veteran forward DeWanna Bonner for a fifth consecutive game on Tuesday when they take on the Seattle Storm. Bonner, who is out for personal reasons, has not played since June 10 and it's unclear when she'll return to action.

Annie Costabile of Front Office Sports reported Tuesday that, "According to multiple league sources, the two-time WNBA champion has no interest in returning to play for the Fever. Those same sources indicated Bonner's preferred landing spots are with the Phoenix Mercury or the Atlanta Dream."
