Lots of informational displays to walk around. There is some interactive stuff, but younger kids get board pretty quick. The tour of the submarine is pretty fun and you get to see how tight space is/…Full review by Snakewrangler

We toured the Bowfin WWII retired submarine in late February. It is a relatively small sub with a crew of just about 80 men. The audio tour was very helpful. Well worth an hour or two of your time.…Full review by sharrongeg

This is a well preserved representation of a submarine. The living and working spaces are smaller than I can imagine someone living and working in. On the tour it was explained how incredibly hot i…Full review by VillagerRick
How long is the tour and what time is the pickup from Waikiki Sheraton? The description did not mention a time and I could not understand the agent from aviator.

It's about a 25-minute drive from Waikiki to the Arizona Memorial. It takes about 3-hours to see the Arizona Memorial and all the stuff around. First thing you have to do is get tickets for the show and the boat ride out to the Memorial. On a busy day you could show up at 8 a.m. and be getting tickets for the afternoon show/sailing. Weekdays are best. Lots of stuff to walk around and see while you wait for your showtime to come up. No cost to the Arizona, minimal charge to the USS Bowfin (I think $3). ABSOLUTELY NO BAGS allowed inside the Arizonia Memorial. Plan ahead. This is for security reasons. Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday is the Aloha Bowl Swap Meet just up the hill (north) - closes at 3:00 p.m. 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive. pearlharborhistoricsites. org/ pearl-harbor/ arizona-memorial
Hello, has anyone encountered any problems using the groupon voucher for a specific date. We can only go on one specific day, visiting from the UK and hopefully plan to use this voucher. Many thanks

The submarine isn’t that busy so you should be able to get in on any day. Just take your voucher to the entrance counter (make sure it is the counter for the submarine as there are several). They will ticket you there and you will be able to go back to the exhibit from there.
Getting through the doors of the submarine was difficult for my husband with back and leg problems and for myself with a foot that I have to wear a brace on. Once we figured out how to do it, it was okay. This should be pointed out to people who may have disabilities. Was a very good tour and well worth it. It was not crowded the day we were there, so we were able to take our time.

Yes I would definitely agree with that statement. While I have good mobility, my mother, who's knees don't bend as well, has some difficulty managing the bulkheads. If this is an issue for a person then I would recommend that they not go down into the ship. The USS Missouri would be a great alternative. It is a terrific monument and the holds of the ship are much easier to navigate. There are still a few ladders to deal with but I think it would be a much more enjoyable experience for a person with limited mobility than the bowfin.
