Water 10/10, beaches 7/10, snorkeling 4/10. The trip was very well organized considering the sheer amount of people going to the Similan islands. I was expecting a much better snorkeling experience.Full review by GIOBEL

Hi everyone, I am currently staying near Khao Lak and was wondering if i should do a day trip to the similan islands? My main interest is snorkeling and I have already been to a few places with nice sea life (eg Koh Phi Phi, Koh Tao) in the last two weeks plus numerous trips in the past (eg Indonesia, Red sea). Thanks for your opinions:)

Once I kept my luggage at a hotel near Patong beach (Phuket) and collected those back after a day. They kept it safe. So, if you stay one night at a hotel in Phuket and then leave, you can probably manage the respective hotel manager to keep the luggage.
