Gorgeous beach with clear waters and white sands, very accessible with ramped disability areas and disabled showers dotted all along the beach. Toilets frequent, with trees for shade and close to bar…Full review by Lucy D

Was here in April so Beach was quiet, water was cold but refreshing. This beach stretches for a long way and is mainly safe ad it is mostly shallow.Full review by D2004Ireland

Hi - we are hoping to visit Alcudia with another family in August. We'll have tbe kids with us, all 10 & 13. We'd really like self catering apartments around the Port area, with a bit of entertainment for the kids and close to the beach/pubs. We'd also like to walk to the Strip if possible. We've never been to Majorca/Alcudia before, so any advice on apartments and nice places to go, would be massively appreciated. We don't mind (just a little) bit of tack ;) Thanks in advance.

Hi Stephanie, we visited Alcudia for about 15 years - before moving here. There’s loads to do with kids and the beaches are fab! The port is a good base, nice bars and places to eat in the evening. Plus you’re on top of a 5k sandy beach - great for walking. We always preferred to stay in Alcudia old town. Culturally it’s beautiful. At night you can walk on the old walls - they’re lit. There are markets twice weekly and the bars and eateries are lovely. Then it’s a short cycle or walk to the big sandy beach or coves in the day. Whatever you opt for - hope you have a brilliant holiday :)
If you mean the walk to Alcudia town, Its about a 10/15 minute walk along the beach. If you are meaning walking in the other direction, you could walk for miles, all down the coast.
