Great to see such a historic site. Unfortunately a lot of modern building etc in the surrounds diminish the impact. The bar there served a great rum punchFull review by CocoTampa123

This was part of a tour in Antigua. Fantastic place to visit but very little cover from the hot sun, this area is very hot. Nice to wander around but beware, the price of souvenirs is very expensive.Full review by AndrewGrimsby

From the cruise terminal would it be best to take a taxi first to Shirley's Heights get the views and then go down to Nelson's dockyard and released that taxi and spend a few hours leisurely? Then get a taxi back to the cruise ship? How would one get to English Harbour from Nelson's dockyard? Are there taxis coming and going from Shirley's Heights? Not much time is needed up there as I recall from years ago correct?

From the cruise terminal would it be best to take a taxi first to Shirley's Heights via the Valley Route. Shirley Heights offers incredible views of the Dockyard below, the coastline and on a clear day the neighboring islands of Guadeloupe and Montserrat. Proceed to Nelson's dockyard. Release that taxi and spend a few hours leisurely wondering around the Dockyard. Stroll over to the Antigua Yacht Club Marina located in English Harbour. Have a coffee or light lunch at Skulduggery Cafe or Sea Breeze. For a full meal eat at Cloggy's upstairs. Cloggy's was voted as the best Sailor's Bar in the World. Take a taxi back to St. John's and the Cruise Ship Terminal. Feeling adventurous? Take a local bus.
