Khoksa is on the east bank of the Madhumati River. According to the 2011 Bangladesh census, Khoksa Municipality had 4,086 households and a population of 17,607. 9.1% of the population was under the age of 5. The literacy rate was 58.8%, compared to the national average of 51.8%.
