Originally I had a @me.com account and then I moved over to an @icloud.com account. However I am uncertain it the @me is still active or should I just delete it off my devices.
You cannot create an @me.com address. Apple’s MobileMe service was killed off in 2012. Anyone with a working @me.com or @mac.com now is using that as nothing more than an alias to the @icloud.com account they must have created prior to the MobileMe shutdown in 2012.
